GOOOOOOOO COUGARS!!!!!!!

Most of you know, the BIG GAME is on Saturday. BYU vs UTAH. My stomach just turns at the thought of the game. I am so nervous, mostly because of my husband. He is the biggest BYU fan. These games mean so much to him and he gets into every game. Two years ago, he had on BYU everything, hat, shirt, socks, you name it. It was a very close game, and at the last second BYU ended up winning. BUT, he had stripped all BYU items OFF, he was so upset they were losing. When they finally won, he was outside screaming, with hardly any clothing on, I am surprise the neighbors did not call the police. So saturday, GOOOOO cougars and please HELP ME, any ideas to keep Tyler calm would be great. Never mind, nothing will help him. He even gets the girls going.

Our Little Pilgrim

Yesterday Tyler picked Avery up from school and found her like this, proud as ever. Isn't she the cutest little pilgrim ever. I will argue with anyone who disagrees with me. Just kidding. Sorry this is so blurry, it was a camera phone.

My little STAR!!!!

Avery, what do you want to be when you grow up? Her response, "Carrie Underwood". Good girl. If you could have seen Avery last night, you would have died with laughter. We were watching the country music awards, and Carrie Underwood came on, which Avery loves. She was so excited. She started dancing, and next thing we knew, she got out the XBOX microphone and was just singing away, doing every hand movement along with Carrie Underwood. It was so dang cute. Seriously, how do I get mad at that little girl. Just last week she wanted to be a Cheerleader and an Astronaut. When Adi saw Avery with a microphone, she ran into the kitchen and came back with a wisk. We watched Carrie Underwood about 6 times.

I will be going private in about 2 weeks, so don't forget to leave you email if you want to be added.

The time has come.....

I have decided to go Private for the safety of my family. Too many WIERD PEOPLE out there that do not need to know what is going on with my family. So just leave me your email and I will get you added. If I don't know you, explain who you are, and MAYBE, just MAYBE, I will add you. You have to have some connection to Tyler or I though.

Just Laugh............

Is all you can do when your 4 yr old puts gum in her hair and walks around for an hour saying her ears feel funny so she has to keep them covered with her hands, meanwhile we are giving her more gum and drinks trying to help them pop. Tyler even plugged her nose and had her blow. Don't you worry, she was strong and did not uncover her ears for anything. Finally, though she slipped, and I saw red gum on both sides of her head right above her ears. All I could do was laugh. It wasn't so funny though when at 10:30 p.m. I am still spreading peanut butter through her hair trying to get it out. Finally, at 11:30 p.m. she was bathed, hair dried, and fast asleep. I wish I had gotten a picture of her face when I said "Well, I guess we will just have to cut it out." It seriously was a very terrified look. So funny. I think she learned her lesson, she is still apologizing this morning. No she did not get in trouble, just a sore bum from having to sit for so long while I tried to get the gum out.

Tylers Cute Grandma

Tylers Grandma Olson is so cute, as is all of our grandmas, but I don't think you would see any of our other grandmas on the back of a motorcycle. We took the kids down last Thursday to show off their Halloween costumes and Tylers cousin Tommy came by on his motorcycle. All of the sudden we heard his grandma say, "Tommy take me for a ride". We all kind of looked in shock, Tommy was in more shock, and as she started getting on the motorcycle we had to hurry and take pictures. It was so cute and we were all laughing so hard. Averys favorite part of the whole thing was grandmas messy hair after her ride.

I Knew This Day Would Come!!!!

I bet most of you were expecting to see the word PRIVATE in this post. That will be soon!!!!
Anyways, just a funny little story about Avery. I thought I would not have this happen for atleat another 5-10 yrs. I was told that I was ANNOYING, while she rolled her eyes at me. WHAT???? Are you kidding? She is only 4 years old and to roll her eyes at me. It all happened over 2 songs on the radio, which just happened to be on the same station on the same day. We love to dance in the car. The girls and I have so much fun turning the radio up loud and dancing. Not too loud. Well, the first song that came on was ICE ICE BABY, by Vanilla Ice. I know you all remember it. I love it. It took me back to the 5th grade, so ofcourse I was excited and Adi and I were dancing away, all the while, Avery is begging for me to turn the station. Are you kidding, No way, I loved that song, I even had the tape, thats right, THE TAPE. The next song to come on was not the most appropriate, but once again I love it. "I LIKE BIG BUTTS!" I know you all remember that song, don't hide it. Once again Adi and I are dancing and having fun, and my sweet little 4 year old, has her arms folded, begging for a new song. When I said, "As soon as this song is over", then I heard her say, "MOM YOU ARE BEING SO ANNOYING, JUST LIKE THIS SONG." I could not believe that I am already annoying. It did not bother me enough to turn the station for those 2 songs though.

Just one more funny story. Every Fall/Winter, they drop about 30 sheep off in the field next to our house. The girls love to watch them, well more scare them when they are close to the fence. It does not take much to scare them. Anyways, they were dropped off yesterday, and they were bunched up into one large group. All of the sudden I hear Avery yell, "Holy Cow that is a Big pile of Sheep." It was so funny. Now when she is asked what is next to her house she says, "A Big Pile Of Sheep."
Oh Avery, you make me laugh everyday. You are my SUNSHINE.

So Annoying

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of year. I love the colors, the smells, the nice crisp days, which are wonderful for walks, might I add. I also Love Thanksgiving, the thought of Christmas just weeks away, stresses me out, but I still love the feeling of this time of year. I was headed to the mall today, to start some Christmas shopping, and as I was flipping through the radio stations,I heard, "It's beginning to look alot like Christmas." What, no it's not!!! If anyone ever listens to 106.5, don't be surprised to hear Christmas music on 24/7. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas music, but give it a few more weeks. I was so annoyed. Thanksgiving seems to be put on the back burner these days. Well, I may have started Christmas shopping, but Thanksgiving will be talked about and celebrated all month long in the Olson home. 8 weeks of Christmas music??? It will get worn out, am I wrong?
Sorry for the litte rant. It will be my little secret if I choose to turn to 106.5 a few times through out this month, because I really do love Christmas music.
