Good Luck Elder Turner

Yesterday, my cousin Dante entered the MTC, he is headed to the Ivory Coast in
West Africa to serve a mission for our church. He is from Michigan, so he flew here on his own, and we were able to spend a few days with him. We took him to IHOP yesterday morning before my step-mom took him to the MTC. We are so happy we were able to spend some time with him. My girls just loved him. Good Luck Dante, we are so proud of you.

I Love to see the Temple

I have a little girl who absolutely loves the temples. She gets so excited as we drive by them, and doesn't always understand why she does not get to go inside. Well, Saturday night Avery and I, along with my mother-in-law Sharon, my step-mom, and my sisters, had the oppurtunity to attend the Draper Temple openhouse. It is the newest temple in Utah, and before it officially opens, the public has the oppurtunity to tour the temple. Avery was able to see the whole inside of the temple. It was such a neat experience for me. We were not allowed to take pictures once inside, and I wish we could have. Averys little expressions to different things were priceless. She was so proud to be there. I love you Avery, I am glad we were able to do this special thing together.

Enough is Enough!!!!!!

I love this time of year. I love the snow and the cold cozy weather, but It gets to a point where "Enough is Enough." I can handle the cold weather, but really is this below example nessisary any longer? No it's not. I am ready to go for walks, and to let my kids, who have major cabin fever,
play outside.

Beautiful Girls.........

I took the girls to get their pictures taken on Saturday. All I can say is "How do I ever get mad at them, they are so beautiful." (Sorry the picture is kind of blurry, I took a picture of the original with my cell phone.)

Brady Luke

Look at how sweet this little boy is. Tylers sister had her baby on Friday. Brady Luke was born at 3:05 p.m. after what sounded like a breeze of a delivery, one to make me very jealous, and he weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. and was 19 1/2 in. He is so sweet and after months of suspense, we finally found out he was a BOY!!!(They chose not to find out what they were having.) Avery is so in love with this little boy. She has talked about him non-stop and can't wait to hold him again. They are such a cute little family. We love Pearson family. Tyler still can't get over the fact that his little sister has 2 kids, and after seeing the pictures of Brady he made the comment "Ok, I guess I am hungry." meaning baby hungry. Too bad his thoughts changed 5 minutes after making the comment!!!!!!!!!!

They are so lucky...............

This didn't happen when I was home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to admit, I have a pretty talented daughter. She made some pretty cool designs with the baby powder bottle, even when it was on an angle. If you were wondering, the once very full baby powder bottle is now completely empty.

I am lucky though that I have the two cutest mischevious children ever, and I would not trade them for anything, even when they are naughty. I am just glad Tyler was home to clean up the mess.

Dixie Girls!!!

Don't these girls look so cute in their Dixie State Jerseys? There is a cute cheerleader thrown in there though. We headed to St. George on Saturday to watch Dixie State play Chaminade. Tylers brother is the assistant coach for the mens basketball team. It was such a fun game. Dixie won 66-64. The game was pretty intense at parts, but not as intense as the drive down to St. George. The roads were so bad, AAAAHHHHH. Anyways, it was such a fun weekend spent with Tylers brother and his family. It was so much fun to come home and watch the game. We were able to record it since it was on CBS sports. Yes there was an embarrasing close up of me, but ohwell right. At one point Avery saw her uncle Mike on T.V. and he had a pretty angry look on his face. Avery said "Wow, uncle MICHAEL is really mad at something." It was so cute, because she never calls him MICHAEL.

A "WILDE" Michigan like Wedding!!!!

On December 30, Kathy and I, along with our girls were able to attend the wedding of one of my dads bestfriends daughters.(Did you get all that?) BrieAnna Wilde married Michael Dance. It was such a fun night, and they put on a very Michigan like reception, with dancing that went on into the night. We had so much fun. It was very emotional though. My dad grew up with and was bestfriend his whole life with Glen and Bob Wilde. We were able to visit with people who I have not seen in years, and with people who knew me, but I did not know them. It had just been too long. At one point Bob started telling a story about my dad, and I just started crying, I had to walk away. It was very emotional to be with these people who were such a huge part of my dads life. It was so much fun. Adi even found a boyfriend. She was holding his hand dancing, and everyone was circled around them, because it was so cute. All of the sudden, Adi and Andrew gave each other a kiss. (Should I be worried?) Neither one of them are 2 yet. The laughter of everybody when it happened scared them both. Avery had so much fun dancing to all of her favorite songs, including "Dancing Queen". Such a fun night, and I know my dad was right there dancing beside us all. (I am not sure why, my step-mom Kathy, chose not to email any pictures with her in them, but she was there, and I will track down some pictures of her also.)
