The GREAT Pumpkins!!!

We had such a fun night last night. The girls have been a little under the weather and cooped up in the house. They were getting a little restless. (And Ty and I were going crazy also.) So what better way to get their energy out, without taking them out to get others sick? Plan a fun night IN THE HOUSE. First we had pizza, should have taken a picture. Then we carved our pumpkins, and Avery had been coming up with ideas for hers all day long. They were so cute while carving them. Avery really got into it. Adison had fun, but if you look close in one of the pictures, she is wiping her mouth off on her shirt, because she was spitting after gagging, AFTER touching the inside of the pumpkin. So funny. They did such a great job on them. Tyler is such a PRO at carving. After we were done carving, we roasted our pumpkin seeds, Averys idea. They turned out OK. Then we settled with our pillows and blankets and watched, It's a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. While watching that we had HALLOWEEN Cinnamon rolls. We had such a fun night, being with each other. And did I mention it was cold outside. Call me crazy, but I LOVED IT!!!

Wride Family Halloween Party!!!

We went to Spanish Fork over the weekend. It was a lot of fun. While there we were able to go to the annual Wride Family Halloween Party, at Tys grandparents house. It was so much fun. Costumes, games, treats, and the best part, YUMMY SOUPS!!! We planned on leaving at 7:00 pm to head back to St. George, but we couldn't pull ourselves away from the fun. We didn't leave until 8:30 pm. We can't wait until next year. Ofcourse, Adi had to be FREAKING OUT in the cute picture of all the cousins.
(we missed having Mike and Janilles family and Kevin and Kristens family there.)

The Pictures::
1. All of the cousins that were in costume.
2. Avery wearing her cousins Candy Land crown.
3. Adi carrying treats for her cousins Madi and Maleea. After they passed them out, she said "I need more for my cousins, Madi and Maleea." The whole night, she was worried about forgetting them.
4. Finally in the car. We had 2 very very sad kids. They did not want to leave their family.

Lucky Me!!!!

Because I am married to this wonderful guy!!!

Saturday was our 6 year anniversary. It is hard to believe time has gone that fast. I am married to the BEST man in the world. He is so incredibly patient and he loves his girls more than anything. We have had our ups and downs, but I would not choose to spend eternity with anyone else but him.
Our day was spent watching FOOTBALL. BYU played and did not do too hot, which made him very unhappy, but we were able to spend time together at the game. He even bought me hot chocolate, because he knows it is my favorite. It was kind of a different anniversary, no fancy dinner, and even though he almost got kicked out of the game by a very old security guard that called him "STUPID", we had a great day together.
I love you Tyler and can't wait for all the wonderful years to come.

GO BLUE!!!

Either Adi knows how homesick I am for my home state and my family, or she is Michigans newest biggest fan, because she has not taken this hat off all day long.
Nobody was allowed to touch it either, or you were in trouble. She is so proud about her new hat.

Jack Sprat!!

This is my nephew Jack. Or in our house Jack Sprat, or in his house Jimmy Jack. He is only 3 monthes old and has so many nicknames. Isn't he so so cute. Well, this little guy needs some prayers. He is the happiest little boy, but has been pretty sick. He was in the hospital last Thursday through Saturday, for some internal bleeding. All tests came back negative, so they sent him home and were told to watch him. Well, I just got a call from my mom, letting me know that they are back in the hospital. They don't know what is going on, but my mom said I need to say prayers for him. I am sitting by the phone waiting for some news. He doesn't even act sick, which makes it that much harder for my sister to see him in the hospital going through all of tests they are doing. I am so lucky to have such healthy kids. I am ready to pull my hair out right now, listening to my two year old throwing a fit that has lasted 15 min. so far, but know how lucky I am to have her sitting here and not sick. My prayers are with my nephew Jack and his family, and he could definately use more.

My GIRLY girl

Avery is extremely girly. She puts her make-up on everyday (just at home), wants me to curl her hair daily, and wears her frilly Easter dress everyday (at home) and her little high heel shoes. So I was completely shocked today when she got dressed to go to the park and came down in this. Basketball jersey, gym shorts, and a baseball hat. So rare, that I thought I better document it.

Whats Missing????

Do you notice the difference between the two photos? (Besides Tyler in one of them)
That's right, the BINK BONK (pacifier) is gone. About 4 weeks ago, I took it away, cold turkey. I was so sick of looking at it, crying when we couldn't find it, ect. I took it away on a Monday, she had a hard time sleeping that night, but thats it. It was surprisingly easy. Every once in a while, she will say, "can I have my bink bonk" and then she will start laughing and say "no, i'm a big girl". I thought it would be a lot harder. I am so glad it is GONE!!!!

Today my heart stopped, ALMOST!!!!

If anyone is wondering what a shopping cart mark looks like on a face or a leg, just let me know and I will send you pictures of my girls.

LESSON LEARNED: A 5 year old and a 2 year old do not belong in a cart together, even if it makes shopping easier for me.

Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday,we went to the Pumpkin Patch/corn Maize. I was so excited to find one in St. George. We had a lot of fun. We took the EASY maize, and somehow, ended up at the beginning. Not so easy if you ask me. The girls had fun though. They loved picking up the corn, and hiding in the corn and scaring us as we walked by. We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch. It was the smallest pumpkin patch I have ever seen, but they found some fun pumpkins that look so cute on our porch. The only downfall of the whole evening was there lack of fun treats. What pumpkin patch doesn't sell warm cider donuts? Guess who is stopping at the Red Barn next time we head up to Utah county? If you guessed me, you are correct. It was a fun night for the girls, made even more fun by having my mom there with us.

Tys Birthday!!!

Tyler turned the BIG 29 last week. We had a good day. The girls were so excited to celebrate with him, and ofcourse open his presents for him. We went to dinner that night to Players with our family, my mom, and his brother Mike and his family. Then we had cake and icecream at our house afterwards. It was a lot of fun. It was a very busy day. Avery is proof. She fell asleep on the hallway floor. We love you Tyler. We hope your day was great.
