Wait, What about me MOM????

So nobody can argue the fact that I have the cutest 3 year old ever, well I guess you can, but I think I have the cutest 3 year old ever.
Avery loves to look at blog pages, mostly her cousins Madi, Maleea, Luke and Gracies. (She is wondering why there are no new pictures of Gracie lately.) Anyways, we always look at ours first. The other day Avery saw the newest blog about Adison. The first thing she said was "Wait, What about me mom?" I tried to explain the whole update because Adi had had a check-up. Basically, her understanding about it was WHO CARES, you still FORGOT me!!! So here is a little update on Avery, a bigger one to come in about 7 wks. when she turns 4.
-She is such a big helper.
-She loves her sister and tries to help her so much, but Adi is just too darn independent for any help.
-She can count to 30.
-She can spell Avery, Adison, mom, and dad.
-She can write Avery, Adison, mom, and dad.
-She can draw most of her shapes.
-She can count to 10 in Spanish.
-She knows all colors.
-She loves space.
-She loves to sing, and I love to listen to her.
-She loves to draw pictures of her family.
I love you so so much Avery Lynne. I am so excited that you get to go to preschool in a few weeks.

This post is for all who wants to read it, but mostly so that Avery knows that she is so special and that I would never EVER forget her.
One more thing. Yesterday, was her last day of gymnastics. She is the only girl in her class, and I was video taping her. I heard her teacher say,"Avery, go sit down." Avery did not sit down, and she was quietly talking to her teacher. I then heard her teacher say "You can still sit by a boy, even if boys can't be your friends." Apparently, Avery can only have GIRL friends. No boys allowed yet.

Adi Anne is getting so BIG!!!!!

Our sweet littel Adi Anne turned 18 months old last week and yesterday we had her 18 month check. She is doing so good. She is such a tiny little thing though. She weighed maybe 20 lbs. She was moving around so much the scale kept changing. She is 30 in. She is growing, but still so little. Here are a few fun facts about our Adi Anne.
- She can say mommy, daddy, baby, grandpa, please, Avery, hi, bye, more, MINE, drink, and a few others.
- She loves her dolls and carries them around everywhere. She rocks them, feeds them and pushes them in a stroller.
- She loves to eat and will try anything.
- She drinks all the time.
- She LOVES baths and to swim.
- She is a terrible flyer, as we just found out last month.
- Favorite foods include: Cheese, grapes, watermelon, broccoli, pasta, and any sweets she can find.

She is doing so much and we just love having her in our family. Even though she is becoming a sassy little thing that throws WONDERFUL tantrums, we love her and would not change a thing.

I LOVE MICHIGAN!!!!!!!!!!

We were just able to spend some time in Michigan with my family. For some reason I had a very hard time leaving, I always do, but more so this time. We had such a fun fun time, so fun that I left there secretly wishing I could move back, OK, it really wasn't a secret. While there my sister Heather was able to get married in Traverse City. It was small and quick, but very nice. My parent have a house on the water in Traverse City, and thats where we stayed and it is right on the water. I have not been there since I have moved to Utah. It was so much fun. The girls had fun playing on the beach and just watching the water. Tyler loved swimming with my brother Engin. That same weekend was the Cherry Festival, so one of the nights we were able to watch the fire works over the water while sitting on the dock. We had the best seats in town. Another highlight of the trip was my niece Grace.(Pictures of her to come.) She is such a sweet happy baby. She is 8 monthes old. She watched everything my girls did. I got pretty attached to her while there. Maybe she is the reason it was so hard to come back to Utah. She has the biggest cheeks with the cutest dimples and big blue eyes. She is a spitting image of my sister. My cute brothers Jengiz and Engin turned 16 and 14 while we were there. They are getting so old. I am sad to say that Engin BEAT me in CLUE again. You just wait until next time. I was able to visit with my Grandma and Grandpa Thomas and my Grandma and Grandpa Kaiser. My Aunt Kathy and Uncle Drake took us out to dinner along with there kids. I was also able to take my kids to see their Great Great Grandma. We had a 5 generation pictures done. She is so sweet. It is always special to me to have my kids visit her.
It was a wonderful wonderful time. I did not get to see everyone I wanted to see, and I apologize for that. I miss everyone so much, and can't wait to get back again. I think we will be driving next time and if we do fly, the doctor will have to give us a heavy sedative for Adison. She was absolutely horrible on the flights, to the point that I was in tears. Everyone knew what color binky she had, she had that thing flying rows ahead of us.
Anyways, I will be posting more pictures soon. Some including my step-dad, grandparents, and siblings. I miss you all.

Remember When????

Here is a fun little game, I copied it from my sister-in-law Janilles blog...Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.On your mark...get set...blog your memories!!

Family Fun!!!

Last weekend we had such a fun time with the whole Olson clan. It all started on Friday when Tylers cute little sister Amy recieved her long awaited mission call. We were all so excited for her, and very anxious to see where she was going. Before she opened it we all made our predictions of where she would be sent, a few came close, but nobody guessed the exact location. She has been called to the Sacramento, California mission english speaking. We are all so excited for her and so so proud of her. She is such a great example to my little girls, especially Avery, who now wants to be a missionary when she grows up. By the way, Avery guessed that she would be sent to Hawaii or Michigan. She will enter the MTC on October 1. She will do great.
On Saturday we all went to Bridal Veil falls. It was beautiful and the kids had such a fun time playing in the falls. We then went swimming in an actual pool. The adults then snuck out for some yummy icecream at Cold Stone. Then Sunday we hurried over to have a yummy BBQ lunch before they all headed back to St.George. Mike and Janille ended up staying longer that day and the kids had a blast playing. They were extremely worn out from there fun weekend. I think all the adults were to. We love weekends like that though, when the family is all together.
Poor Avery has been sick since Sunday, so the weekend really wore her out. Thanks again everyone for the fun weekend. We miss you all so much.
One more thing, Tylers sister Kristen is expecting her 2nd baby in January. We are so excited for her. Congrats Kevin and Kristen.

"Lights, please stay off"

This will probably be a boring post to most of you, but because I like the idea of this being "somewhat"of a journal, since I have slacked on journaling, I am adding this story.
It happened the night of the Stanley Cup final. The power went out, and lucky for the power company, (weather they had control over it or not, they are lucky) the power went out about 5 min. after the Hockey game was over and the celebrating had ended. Tyler was ofcourse at work, and it was pitch black. Avery could tell I was a little "SCARED" yes, I was scared. I had her sit on the couch while I lit some candles. Adi was already in bed. I found the flash light and Avery and I layed on the living room floor talking and making the flash light do fun things on the ceiling. I loved that she is getting old enough to just talk to me. I just love her so much. The power finally came back on about a 1/2 hour later, and she was so upset, she said "why did the lights come back on, Lights please stay off". It was so sweet. So I turned all the lights off. We ended going to her room after she told me she was tired, and we laid there for another 1/2 hour just talking and playing with the flashlight until she finally fell asleep. I love Avery so much and hope that we will continue to be bestfriends.

The Stanley Cup!!!!!!

For those of you who don't know, I LOVE HOCKEY!!! The DETROIT REDWINGS to be exact, and how could I not love Hockey, I grew up in Michigan, in a family, that if you did not like Hockey, you didn't really fit in, like my sister Heather. I am just kidding. I miss Hockey so much, and since I live in a state that lacks professional sports,(ok, we have the Jazz, but I am NOT A FAN), I rarely get to watch hockey, especially the Detroit Redwings. Well, last night they won the Stanley Cup. I was shocked that the past few games have been broadcasted. I was so excited. I got a litte teary eyed on Monday night watching them, but last night I was home alone with the girls, who are awesome to watch sports with. Avery kept yelling "Go Redwings, clear the puck", and Adi would just scream. I just started crying with about 1 min. left and once they all charged the ice to celebrate, I really lost it. I was so excited, but so home sick at the same time. I think I was so emotional, because the last time I watched the Redwings win the Stanley Cup, I watched it with my whole family at my grandparents house,(I don't think anyone understands how big hockey really is to my family). Not only did I watch it with my whole family (aunts, uncles, cousins) but my dad was there. I just miss him so much and this was just a HUGE reminder of him. I just had flash backs of him banging his foot on the floor, screaming so loud we would have to plug our ears, and the loudest most excited cheers. I miss him so so so much.
Anyways, it was just an awesome series between the Detroit Redwings and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Because he thought he was funny, Tyler cheered for the Penguins, because he does not like the Redwings at all. He has no ties to Pittsburgh. You just wait until BYU plays UTAH honey. RED ALL AROUND.
