Off we go!!

We are headed to Disney land tomorrow night. I am so excited to:
-See my kids reactions to everything.
-See Adi go on some rides, too small last year.
-Go on some BIG rides with Tyler.
-See peoples reactions to Adis cute little leash she will be wearing. (I heard that her uncle Mike will give us the hardest time.) Seriously though, that kid can bolt, and the only way to let her walk in a safe way is the cute little backpack leash we got her.

We are so excited to go again. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the girls sleep well on the trips there and back and that the weather cooperates.

A Pillowcase??? Really!!!

My sister-in-law Kristen called me this morning and told me to look these up. They are the cutest dresses and since I have such girly girls, I have to make them. I don't sew, but they are made out of pillow cases. How EASY!!! Now, does anyone know where to find cute pillow cases like these?

Can I have a "Twig"

Here is just a cute little conversation I had with Avery Lynne last night. One that I have to always remember. I was making dinner and had told her NO, for the 100th time to a treat out of our 10 lb bucket of Easter candy!

She walks into the kitchen AGAIN, and says,
"Mom, can I have a "TWIG"?

"A what?" I said.

"You know, a TWIG, those long sticks that are covered in chocolate and are kind of nutty and crunchy on the inside?" (Her hand and facial expressions throught the whole conversation were hilarious.)

"A TWIX, you mean?" (I was laughing histarically at this point)

"Yes a Twix" she said.

Because I was laughing so hard she thought I was going to say YES!!

"NO", I said, "go watch Mama Mia, maybe after dinner".

I thought it was the cutest thing. Maybe you had to be there.

P.S. To my mom and sister, who think I am a mean mom for not giving the girls all they want, (THEY JUST MISS THEM), while on the phone with you mom, she snuck the twix and managed to eat one before I caught her. I had to wrestle the other half away, but I got it and was the MEANEST MOM for the rest of the night.

Adis Ears

Poor Adi. I just feel so bad for this beautiful baby. Most of you know Adi had tubes put in her ears in March of 2008 after several ear infections. They did great. In January the doctor noticed the right one had fallen out.(old news I know.) In the last 8 weeks she has had 4 infections. We had to take her in to the doctor, AGAIN, yesterday after a rough night and lots of crying. She was still on her last antibiotic, and still got an infection. She is now on a strong dose that should last until we can see the specialist in May. It is a strong possibility she will have to have tubes put back in her little ears. It is so sad to hear you 2 year old say "I sick, ears hurt." She is such a trooper though. She is still such a happy girl. This picture is at the doctors office and she was smiling away!! This picture makes me laugh. She is the skinniest little thing. Not quite 22 lbs yesterday.

Easter

We had such a fun Easter. My camera is still MIA so cell phone pictures will have to do. The above picture is of my beautiful girls in their Easter dresses, which they were so proud of. They got way too much candy, between 5 sets of grandparents, (in Utah alone) and the "Easter Bunny". Saturday was spend in Ephraim for the big Olson easter party and egg hunt. Sunday was spent at my step-moms for a yummy dinner. My grandma and grandpa Mohr are here visiting from Michigan. Then we headed to Tylers parents for a quick egg hunt and then to Benjamin to Tylers grandparents for another dinner and egg hunt. The girls had so much fun with their cousins. We talked alot about the true meaning of Easter, and Avery is really catching onto the fact that it is not just about the Easter bunny of Santa Claus. She makes me so proud.
The Easter bunny brought a Nerf gun, Mama Mia, clothes, sticky earrings, and too much candy. I think the nerf gun is more for Tyler though. We had a great Easter.

Just a funny story. Easter morning, Avery ran into our room and said "I know where my Easter basket is, it is in the otoman". I said " How do you know Avery?" and she said "because I heard the Easter bunny talking last night!" OOPS, thought she was fast asleep!!!!

I love this picture of the grandkids looking through their baskets at grandma and grandpa Olsons. They got them all cute outfits from Hawaii.
Maleea, Avery, Luke, Madilyn, and Adison. (Brady was inside the warm house.)

Such a wonderful Man!!

I have the best husband in the whole world, and I don't tell him enough. He takes such good care of me. Monday I had my wisdom teeth out. Not fun. He took such good care of me. He went to the store and bought me lots of things I could eat, took me home and tucked me in bed. He did not leave to get the girls until he knew I was comfortable and sleeping. The next day was my birthday, and it killed him that we could not do anything fun, so we went to his parents for dinner, cake and icecream. While everybody ate yummy homemade pizzas, I ate cheddar broccoli soup.(It was very good.) Avery and Ty even picked out and icecream cake for me. It has been a tough couple of days, but he has made it so easy for me. I didn't have to worry about anything. He took care of the girls and made sure I got lots of rest. I love him so much and after the past few days I wonder how I ever get mad at him. He is WONDERFUL!!!!
