My McGyver!!!

I have no idea how you really spell McGyver, but Tyler sure is the handy man in our house. He locked his keys in the car. Luckily the windows were cracked. He was trying everything. The keys were just teasing him on the seat, just barely out of reach. Well, he sure got them, and was very proud to show me how. I am pretty impressed, even if I am now a hanger short. He took one of the girls butterfly nets and taped the hook of a hanger to the end, and VOILA, he got his keys.
Look close at the end of the butterfly net.

Fathers Day!!!

Fathers Day is kind of bitter sweet. I miss my dad SOOOOO much, and I often think of how unfair it is to me and my family to not have him here anymore. Luckily for me I have some wonderful dads in my life.

I am so lucky to be married to this handsome man. He does so much for our family. He is the best Daddy in the world. His girls are #1 to him. He spends hours playing with them, catching butterflies, coloring, watching movies, ect. The list could go on and on. He is so patient with the girls and I. I love him so much. There is not a better daddy out there. (In my eyes ofcourse.) We love you so much Tyler. Happy Fathers Day. I should thank my in-laws for raising such a wonderful man.

This is my dad, who I miss every second of every day. I love this picture of him. It is just HIM. Not a day goes by that we do not talk about him in our home. Avery and Adi know who there grandpa Kaiser is. They know where he lives now. I am so thankful for the knowlege that I have, that I will someday be with him again, and that I can teach that to my children. He was such a wonderful dad. He taught me so much. He was such a hard worker. I just admire him so much. This is where I have to stop, so the tears do not start. (I am at work)

This is my step-dad. I don't know if it is even appropriate to call him that. He has been in my life since I was 9 or 10. He has always just been a dad to me. I look up to him so much and miss him tons. He has always been there for us no matter what it is. My girls miss there grandpa so much and talk about him lots. He is the grandpa that sneaks all the treats. He gave Adi her first taste of an Oreo and first taste of Diet Coke. Avery has never forgotten when he made her a "Slurpee" in the KITCHEN. Apparently only grandpa Olgac can make those. She was amazed by that. When my dad was very sick, he told us that he was not worried to die, because he knew that we would be taken care of by our step-dad, and that is the truth. I will never forget that. I could go on and on about my step-DAD!!!

My father-in-law Jeff is so great. He does so much for our family. I don't think we could ever thank him enough for all he does for us. And did I mention that my girls absolutley adore him?

Thank you to all of our grandfathers and uncles who are such great examples to our family. We love you all.

Is she in SWIM or DANCE????

Avery is in swim lessons, and I will post pictures of that soon. We can only take pictures on Fridays, due to "DISTRACTION" reasons. Tyler had to take Avery today and he sent me this picture of them after her swim lessons.

So now my question is, is this swim class or dance class? Whatever it is, Adison is pretty impressed and trying her hardest to do what her big sister is doing. These two crack me up!!

STOP GROWING!!!

For some reason, my girls think they need to keep growing. I try to convince them everyday to STOP GROWING!!! They just laugh at me, and Avery gives me her list of why she has to grow. WELL, Avery is 4 1/2, and by my book, that is too young to have a loose tooth. Too young or not, it has happened. Avery has her first loose tooth, and is SOOOO PROUD of it. For about a week and a half, she complained that her gums hurt on the bottom. She has not bumped her mouth, so I kept checking them and they looked normal. I didn't think there would be any big problems, since we have recently been to the dentist and everything was perfect. I finally felt her tooth and sure enough, IT WAS LOOSE!!! So in my eyes, it is a BIG PROBLEM, that problem being that my girls are GROWING UP TOO FAST!!

My little sister!!!

My cute "LITTLE" sister is due for a baby on June 28. I am so excited for her. I know how nervous she is getting, especially since the Dr. told her that if she goes full term, he will be atleast 9 lbs. We are hoping his guess is off. She is such a great mom to little Gracie, and I know she will be a great mom to little Jack. I am so proud of her. He is a picture of her. Yes her head is cut off, but she was not happy to be sending a picture at all. I will take what I can get. I hate being so far away from my family, and it makes it so much harder at times like this, when I feel like I should be there for her!! I MISS YOU HEATHER, and know you will do GREAT!!!

Rainy Days!!!

What are you supposed to do on a rainy cold June day, when you have had enough of whiney cooped up kids? Take them to the new tree house in the Orem mall. My kids love this tree house. It has slides and a dinasaur skeleton to climb on. I just let them run and run.
On our way out of the mall it was a complete down pour. My pour kids were freezing. We got out of our car at the mall and the temperture was 84, when we got back in the car it was a freezing 53 degrees. We had lots of fun though.

I have to apologize for the quality of these pictures. What do you expect when they are taken with a cell phone and then zoomed in on?

Who needs an Umbrella??

There are just somethings about your kids you don't want to forget. This being one of them. I went to the mall on Wednesday night and took Avery with me. It started to rain pretty hard. I opened the door to find her standing there with the biggest smile on her face. She had made her own rain hat out of a plastic bag. No I don't condone putting plastic bags over their faces, but this was pretty clever. She made a hole for her face and her arms were through the handles of the bag. I was laughing all the way into the mall and so was everyone else we passed. She was so proud of herself and I was proud of her. They were just jealous that they were getting wet and she wasn't.She is the funnest little 4 year old.

Swings!!

We love the park, but I will usually try to pick a park without swings. Adi loves swings and will do nothing but that at any park we go to. I know it is fun, but the other night I pushed her for 1 hour straight in the same swing, while her sister was having fun running around. She does look so sweet swinging though!!(sometimes though, going to the park, is my break to just sit down and read a magazine while they run around, does not happen at a park with swings.)
